This policy describes the data handled when you visit volumeshadertest.com. The site is published and operated under the Volume Shader BM Test name. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to contact@volumeshadertest.com.
Benchmark data stays on your device
The WebGL benchmark runs in your browser. FPS, score, GPU renderer, test mode and benchmark result are displayed locally and are not uploaded by default. A public submission feature is not currently active.
Necessary hosting and security data
Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, may process IP address, User-Agent, requested URL, referrer, time, network and error or security logs to deliver the site, prevent abuse and diagnose failures. The Font Awesome asset CDN may receive ordinary request metadata when your browser downloads icons. We also use local storage to remember your cookie choice.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics is disabled by default and its script is loaded only after you accept analytics. If accepted, Google may process page URL, referrer, browser and device information, approximate location derived from IP, and interaction events for audience measurement and site improvement. We request IP anonymization and disable Google signals and ad-personalization signals. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Advertising status and future AdSense use
Google AdSense advertising code is currently disabled, so this site does not request or display AdSense ads. Before advertising is enabled, we intend to use a Google-certified consent management platform where required. If ads are enabled later, Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and other device identifiers for ad delivery, fraud prevention, measurement and, where you consent, personalization.
Purposes and sharing
We use necessary data to operate, secure and troubleshoot the site; optional analytics data to understand aggregate use; and contact data to answer messages. Data is shared only with service providers needed for those purposes, when required by law, or to protect the service. We do not sell benchmark results or automatically upload hardware fingerprints.
Retention
Cookie preferences remain in your browser until you clear them or replace your choice. Emails are kept only as long as needed to answer and document the request. Hosting, security and analytics records follow the retention settings and legal obligations of the relevant provider and are not kept by us longer than needed for the stated purpose.
Your choices and rights
Use Cookie preferences to accept or reject analytics, clear site storage in your browser, block third-party requests, or use private browsing. Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection regarding personal data. Contact us with enough detail to identify the relevant record.
Contact and policy changes
Email contact@volumeshadertest.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We may update this policy when providers or site features change. The date above identifies the current version, and optional processing will not be expanded silently beyond the consent you gave.
